Our Approach

Philosophy and educational program

Our bilingual play-oriented program that adopts the Einstein education philosophy that “education is not the learning of facts but the training of the mind to think”. The use of play as a means of learning is supported by research, and the incorporation of various educational philosophies provides a well-rounded and engaging educational experience for children. Our goal is to empower children and help them become the best version of themselves. We want the children to believe that anything is possible, they can become who they want, and they can do anything they are passionate about. As Walt Disney once said, “If you can dream it, you can do it!” Educators extend and expand these interests to create deep, meaningful learning opportunities which lay the foundation for future learning.

Our goal is to support children’s cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development through a Montessori coaching style program built on an understanding of children’s natural developmental curve. Recognizing individual differences in their development helps us to ensure age-appropriate activities and set individual learning objectives for each child. This allows us to promote children’s independence with the aim of instilling a strong sense of self in every child.

Thomas Edison once said “I like the Montessori Method. It teaches through play. It makes learning a pleasure. It follows the natural instincts of the human being . . . The present system casts the brain into a mold. It does not encourage original thought or reasoning.”

Through play, children will explore, interact, investigate, and experiment through planned experiences set up in the classroom or outside. We believe children are capable of amazing insights. Educators work alongside the children to observe and develop in-depth investigations that reflect and are built upon authentic interests of the children making their preschool experience fun, exciting and relevant to them and their world. It is essential to allow children to explore their interests, express themselves, play, make mistakes and adjust their understanding of the world through these instrumental experiences.

We’re outside every day, all year long. Our curriculum is play-based, place-based, and focused on developing kindergarten-readiness. We’re committed to strengthening each child’s confidence and skills so that they become agile problem solvers and ready learners. Each morning, we will venture out to learn in the park and other area. Our students will learn joyfully: Run, walk, climb, play, swim in summer, sled in winter, ski in winter etc. Develop academic readiness skills through hands-on learning: telling stories, reading books, using math, signing, making art, and discovering the natural world.

We believe in letting the kids be kids, by giving them the space to express themselves freely, let their imagination have fun and to know that they can become whatever they want. Like Dr. Seuss said, “why fit in when you were born to stand out!” We are here to guide the kids and give them the love of learning. Nurture their curious minds in a safe and inclusive environment.

Our unique educator ratios and concept of maximum 6 child per educator also allows the child to keep the same educator throughout the years until they graduate. In addition to our preschool educators, we also have teachers and specialist for all our classes that are included at no extra cost. All our staff also gets continuing education classes, workshops, and support. Facilitators and other professionals like our children Psychologist, nurse, Speech Therapist, Occupational therapist, physiotherapist and specialized educators share information and strategies with teachers and educators for developing language and communication, speech sounds/articulation, independence, early literacy, physical & social skills, bedtime routine, meal routines, hygiene, Kids Safety & Self-defence, and much more.

Safety and security are always our top priority. All our staff will get a first respondent first aid class same as fire fighters. We also have an annual safety hands-on training for all situations for all our staff.
